Hey, at the risk of being self-referential, check out these posts which have links to some of the places I went during my two weeks in NYC in May. On ne se connait pas, so you may be about to throw up your hands in horror at the gayness of some of these “plans,” but let me reassure you that criterion doesn’t apply to the restaurants at least !!
    The links are:

    Hope it’s useful!

    hello nathan,
    down the hatch
As they : “dirt cheap place to party”.

where to even start… grew up in the freakin place and all I can tell you is Hungarian Pastry Shop, 111th and Amsterdam. Grab yourself a New Yorker (the magazine, or a person, whatev) and do like maitresse did back in college and hang out there for hours drinking their free coffee refills.
